USS F4 in drydock at Honolulu, Hawaii, on 1 September 1915, after the submarine had been raised from over 300 ft of water then towed into port. Salvage pontoons used to support the sub during the final lift.
The view shows USS F4 port bow, upside down, rolled to starboard approximately 120 degrees from the vertical, with view of the large implosion hole in her port side, sold 12-16-16
