Basic information on how the head, hands and legs of the doll where made:
The doll is a wax over composition doll. Composition is a wood pulp composite that many German companies made. They used a mixture of glue, wood pulp, and other things. A metal or wood mold was used then the composite mix would be pressed into the mold. After drying, coats of wax and paint are added.
