In the distance you can sell Fort Point Army base at the entrance to the bay set up to defend the bay entrance. Also several sailing ships on the bay.

 

This photo series starts with a letter "B" before the series number. In which indicates this photo was taken by C E Watkins in the c1870s and then published by Taber later in the c1880 using the I W Taber mount. Taber gallery bought many glass negative plates from Watkins due to financial issues.
