Lotta Crabtree started her carrier in the gold mining camp of California at a early age in 1856 and ended her acting carrier in 1891 due to a injury several years earlier.  She retired at the age of 45 and was one of the richest actress in America.  Miss Lotta made an appearance at the 1915 PPIE in San Francisco California.
